Do-It-Yourself Letter for Students Receiving Special Education Services (SES) Who Are Being Disciplined (Suspended or Expelled)

Use this tool to prepare a letter to help you contact your child’s school, the Michigan Department of Education, or the U.S. Department of Education about the school's punishment of your child. This letter is right for you if your child is receiving Special Education Services (SES) and is being suspended or expelled from school. You will go to the LawHelp interactive website to do this.  When you are done answering the questions, your finished letter will be ready for you to print.

Our forms are always free. You will leave Michigan Legal Help and go to our partner site to create forms. The LawHelp Interactive website asks for an optional donation. You do not need to pay anything.
